WSI Pilotbrief on Display
at the Pavilion

Ok, so WSI
is ‘only’ a quarter of a century old but
we did continue our tradition of supporting major general
aviation events this past December. WSI made a donation
of briefing services and equipment at the celebration
of the hundredth year of powered flight. Four WSI systems
were at the Pavilion helping staff of the FAA’s
TFSS to brief all of the pilots lucky enough to make
the trip. Although the weather did dampen the performance
of the Wright Flyer replica, it had no effect on the
spirits of the thousands of pilots and enthusiasts who
came to mark a century of aeronautical progress.
In addition, WSI supported a long-standing customer,
the Dare County Regional Airport, with an extra WSI
Pilotbrief® system to help with the ‘overflow’
traffic. Many pilots used Dare County as their flying
destination in order to gain easy access to the festivities.
Be sure to look for WSI Pilotbrief systems at the TFSSs
in Lakeland and Oshkosh this year as WSI continues to
support general aviation in the second century of powered
flight.
