For the sixth straight
year, the WSI Pilotbrief service has been selected by the readers
of Professional Pilot magazine as the best professional aviation
weather briefing service. Rumor has it that the readers of Professional
Pilot selected WSI by an overwhelming margin.
|

|
In continuing with a
WSI tradition, WSI provided WSI Pilotbrief weather briefing
kiosks to the volunteers staffing the FAA Temporary Flight Service
Station in Lakeland, FL during this year's Sun 'n Fun Fly-in.
Each airshow season WSI assists in making numerous aviation
events more successful and safe by donating systems and service
to event coordinators and the FAA.

WSI has launched an exciting new partnership with the manufacturers
of Electronic Flight Bags to make WSI InFlight pre-configured,
portable cockpit displays available to the marketplace.
|
|
|
|
Flight Op EFIS
|
Op Technologies of Beaverton,
Oregon has released a version of their Flight Op EFIS and MFD
Software that incorporates the WSI InFlight System. On display
at Sun 'n Fun, this non-certified system is able to display
the WSI InFlight products (WSI NOWrad®, METARs, SIGMETs
and AIRMETs) directly on either the Primary Flight Display or
MFD! The Experimental crowd is gaining a powerful tool for the
cockpit - a fully functioning EFIS with WSI InFlight. The WSI
InFlight functionality is now standard on the Flight Op system.
Operators simply need to install the WSI InFlight system with
their Flight Op EFIS and subscribe to service in order to have
a complete panel solution. |
