WSI InFlight Compatible with GNS 530/430

Well, the cat is out of the bag as the project that
has been keeping WSI Transportation Engineering abuzz
these past few months is revealed. WSI is now shipping
WSI InFlight Dash 5 systems that are compatible with
the Garmin 500 and 400 series displays. Now owners of
Garmin GNS 530s and 430s (for example) can receive the
highest quality weather products reliably and at the
finest resolution available on the market.
WSI InFlight Dash 5 systems provide Graphic METARs,
Textual METARs and WSI's quality controlled WSI NOWRAD®
radar mosaics down to a square nautical mile (2km) resolution
to the Garmin devices. By utilizing WSI's geosycrhonus
satellite broadcast system and a purpose built AVX-5
Smart Connector, WSI is able to continously deliver
weather information onboard an aircraft, to be displayed
on a 530/430.
WSI is now shipping the Garmin compatible WSI InFlight
AV100-5 systems (non-certified) and anticipates completing
certification for the AV200-5 system at the end of this
Fall. The AV100-5 is working very well for our customers,
installed on a number of experimental aircraft with
both GNS530s and 430s. Concurrently, WSI is offering
reduced MSRPs on all Dash 5 systems ordered before the
end of September. Additional savings on WSI InFlight

WSI InFlight is now available on the most display
options of any datalink weather service. Garmin AT's
MX-20, L-3 ilinc, Chelton's EFIS-SV, Op Technologies
Flight Op 200, ADR's FG-4000, Flight Deck Resources'
SkyTab 770, Paperless Cockpit's FliteServ, CMC's CT-1000,
laptop computers, tablet PCs, PDAs and now the Garmin
GNS 530 and 430.
