WSI and Industrial Information Resources Announce the Integration of Outage Information into WSI Energycast PowerTrader to Better Serve the Energy Trading Market

Houston - March 12, 2003 - WSI and Industrial Information Resources (IIR) are proud to announce the second step in their strategic alliance. This step involves the integration of IIR's daily current outage index, organized by NERC Region, into WSI's Energycast PowerTrader, a product designed to help energy traders navigate changes in weather, as well as provide short term and long term weather forecasting, to more accurately anticipate energy supply and demand.

WSI Energycast subscribers can easily login and access IIR's continuously updated outage information directly on their Energycast Website. IIR PowerCast Live clients can click through the Energycast site at any time in order to access their exclusive and definitive outage coverage provided on IIR's PowerCast Live web page. The alliance was initiated last month with the integration of key WSI weather information into IIR's PowerCast Live.
