WSI Providing Aviation Weather Services During AirVenture 2003

Pilots and the general public will have access to WSI's award winning weather information through numerous outlets during the EAA's National Fly-In

Billerica, MA, July 16, 2003 - WSI Corporation, the trusted leader in aviation weather, will be hosting three outlets for travelers to the EAA AirVenture 2003 in Oshkosh, WI. Enthusiasts and pilots will be able to access WSI's information through the Oshkosh Temporary Flight Service Station (FSS), the daily AirVenture Today newspaper and through a special WSI hosted website.

WSI is providing the Temporary FSS at Oshkosh eight WSI FAA Pilotbrief Vector briefing stations for the duration of the event. FSS specialists will utilize the WSI systems to brief pilots flying in and out of the Whitman Regional area. This is the 4th year that WSI has had the honor of assisting the EAA and FAA in their mission to conduct a successful and safe fly-in.

EAA AirVenture Attendees will be able to plan their day weather-wise, with the WSI AirVenture Forecast published in AirVenture Today, the official newspaper of the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh event. A three day forecast will feature daily high and low temperatures as well as sky conditions. Readers will find the forecast on the front page of the paper.

In addition, WSI is publishing a website of free WSI aviation weather for the region surrounding Oshkosh leading up to and during AirVenture 2003. The purpose built site will offer surface prognostics, satellite imagery and WSI's industry leading NOWrad® Radar Summary.
