Programs Manager
Reports to:
Marketing Director
Purpose of Position:
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Programs Manager
works closely with the marketing team, product, sales and external
partners to establish WSI products and services within vertical
specific markets. The programs manager will be responsible for both
driving customer demand and facilitating sales channel effectiveness
through successful marketing program execution.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain the marine marketing programs
calendar to drive customer demand
- Work with channel sales team and channel partners to establish
and maintain an effective channel marketing program
- Develop and maintain all marketing and sales materials including
brochures, datasheets, testimonials, case studies, channel merchandising
materials
- Work closely with marketing team members to execute marine tradeshows,
events, online marketing programs, product websites and direct
marketing programs
- Establish and maintain a relationship with key marine press
within the industry to achieve product mentions
Qualifications:
This is a hands-on position requiring the applicant to hit the
ground running. Therefore, the manager must have marketing
management experience with ability to manage the entire
execution process, using internal and external resources, in a demanding,
fast-paced environment. The manager must be able to develop and
expand upon ideas and concepts to bring projects to their successful
conclusion and have the ability to drive the implementation of those
decisions through the organization.
- At least 3-years marketing experience in either a client-side
or agency structure developing and implementing marketing programs
- Outstanding project management experience, excellent writing
skills and the ability to work independently to achieve goals
- Experience developing on and offline marketing and sales collateral
both hands-on and working with internal and external creative
resources
- Experience within a high-tech environment working with either
hardware or software products and services, industry experience
(aviation or marine) desired but not necessary
- Channel marketing experience strongly desired with experience
developing channel programs and dealer merchandising material
